Welcome to The Catholic Parent! We’re so glad you dropped in!  It’s challenging being a parent in today’s culture where there is so much contrary to our Catholic faith. Many of us want to raise our children to follow God and be faithful Catholics, but it sometimes feels like we’re in a battle and not gaining much ground. Sometimes we just aren’t sure where to turn.

Go and Make Disciples

Jesus said, “Go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” To do this, we need encouragement; encouragement to first grow in our own relationship with Jesus Christ, and secondly in our knowledge, understanding, and love for our Catholic faith. When we do these two things, we will be able to effectively disciple our own children.

The Catholic Parent wants to help you!  We will feature original and non-original articles, videos and audios on various topics relating to parents of teens and faith. We will post one original and one non-original article, video or audio a week: Sundays and Wednesdays.
